The Australian Camp Oven Festival (ACOF) has evolved to become one of Queensland’s flagship tourism events. Held in Millmerran, The iconic ACOF is a two day celebration of all things Australian.

Take part in the camp oven cooking competition, enjoy the live entertainment and see heritage displays, sheep shearing, damper throwing and more.

February2023

The 86th Millmerran Show promises plenty of fun, excitement and entertainment for the whole family in 2023. There will be live entertainment, rides, rock climbing wall, ride-on mower racing, fireworks, demolition derby and the Rodeo.

Check out the farm animals, the wood chop and the Millmerran Country Challenge as well as other events in the main arena.

Rendezvous

July - odd years

Held at SSAA Captain's Mountain Complex Millmerran, Rendezvous harks back to the pre-old West era, the event pays homage to hunters, fur trappers, explorers and pioneers who opened up much of the frontiers of North America, Africa and Australasia during the Golden Age of muzzleloading firearms from 1500 to 1865.

Competitors adopt the dress and style of the era may use original or reproduction blackpowder firearms from the 1500-1865 period and must be within the spirit of the event being contested.

The Chisholm Trail

September/October 2021

The Chisholm Trail is a Single Action Shooting competition held at Captain's Moutain near Millmerran. Organisers and competitors attempt to preserve, promote, and respect the skills, traditions, and pioneering spirit of the historic American Old West. The competition sees those involved dress in costumes of the period, and take on special names for the week.

Millmerran Bush Christmas in July

Proudly presented by Millmerran Commerce & Progress INC. Due to the postponement of Millmerran Christmas in the Bush 2021, we have planned an afternoon of fun and entertainment commencing at 1pm for lunch and wrap up with fireworks around 5.30pm. Face painting, jumping castle, rock wall, giant slide, entertainment, market stalls, food, drinks, coffee, Bar. Entry - Gold coin donation for all who are over school age. Amusements and rides free.

Busking Competition FRIDAY 30 SEPTEMBER 2022 FROM 9.30AM TO 11.30PM. Cash prizes, winner receives stage time at the Australian Camp Oven Festival, voter vouchers to be won.
